Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, this AMC horror television series tells
the story of a small group of survivors living in the aftermath of a zombie
apocalypse. The show follows Rick Grimes, a police officer, who wakes up from a
coma to find the world ruled by the dead. Soon after leaving the hospital and
discovering his wife and son are missing, he embarks himself on a perilous
journey to Atlanta, the city where his family may be hiding. Along the road,
Rick sees the havoc made by zombies.

Once in Atlanta, he learns that the city where the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention is said to have set up a quarantined
safe-zone is invaded by the undead. Fortunately, in the meantime, Shane Walsh,
his former colleague and best friend, took matters into his own hands and
watched over Rick’s wife Lori and his son Carl, finding not only a shelter
outside the doomed city, but also establishing some kind of camp nearby Atlanta
for them and other survivors.
Rick manages to get himself into trouble, but is rescued by
the group of survivors. Soon after being saved from the “walkers” and reunited
with his family, he decides to hoist his flag and help Shane protect the rest
of the survivors. Taking the risk to go back in Atlanta to find more weapons,
the gang doesn’t have it easy. The tensions between them and another group of
survivors grow, but Rick manages to calm things down. Unfortunately this calm
doesn’t last long. Returning to the camp, they discover that their hiding is no
longer the safe haven the group believed… the zombies have nearly taken control
of it. Now that the structures of global society collapsed, the battle for
survival will be harder than ever. Enjoy the show!
